Pay per session or buy a package — no subscription trap. Cancel anytime. A short trial session is the best way to check fit before committing to more.
No institute markup
Coaching institutes add 30–60% overhead for admin, buildings, and brand. SkillMonster cuts that out. You pay the Guide directly; we charge a small platform fee only on completed sessions.

Is there a platform fee on top of the Guide rate?
Yes — SkillMonster charges a small platform fee on completed sessions. This covers payment processing, platform maintenance, and advisor support. The fee is shown transparently at checkout.
Can I try a Guide before committing?
Yes. Most Guides offer a 30-minute introductory session at a reduced rate. Check the Guide's profile for availability, or ask an advisor to arrange an intro.
What's the refund policy if a session doesn't go well?
If a session is cancelled by the Guide with less than 24 hours' notice, you receive a full refund. For other disputes, our advisors review the case — we protect both sides fairly.
Can Guides charge in USD if I'm in India?
No — Guides set pricing in the currency of their primary region. Indian Guides price in INR; US Guides in USD. Currency is always shown on the Guide's profile.
Are packages cheaper than per-session?
Some Guides offer package discounts for 5 or 10 session bundles. Look for the package pricing badge on a Guide's profile. Packages are non-refundable after the second session.
