- After Prelims prep: use Mains PYQs to structure your answer templates for each GS paper
- For Mains, UPSC rarely repeats exact questions — use PYQs to understand the DEPTH expected
- CSAT PYQs are essential if you scored below 80/200 on a mock — CSAT is a qualifying hurdle
- Note 3-year gaps in topics — Environment, S&T, and Economy questions are due to cycle back
Common PYQ Practice Mistakes
- Attempting Prelims PYQs without even basic conceptual preparation — confuses more than helps
