This 12-month plan assumes you are starting from Class 11 basics and preparing for NEET. Biology is 50% of the paper — it gets the most time. The first 6 months cover the full syllabus; months 7–9 are subject-wise revision; months 10–12 are mock tests and NCERT re-reading.

  • Month 3: Full Biology Class 11 + Physics + Organic basics complete
  • Month 5: Full syllabus coverage done — first mock test
  • Month 6: First revision cycle complete
  • Month 8: 5 years of PYQs done; 8+ mocks completed
  • Month 10: NCERT read for the 3rd time; 15+ full mocks done
  • Month 12: Final exams — only revision, no new study

Do These

  • NCERT Biology must be read at least 3 times before the exam
  • Draw all diagrams from memory repeatedly — NEET asks diagram-based questions
  • Solve at least 50 Biology MCQs per day from Month 3 onwards
  • Maintain a named reactions list for Organic Chemistry
  • Take a full NEET-pattern mock (200 questions, 200 minutes) every week from Month 6

Avoid These

  • Don't start non-NCERT resources before completing NCERT thoroughly
  • Don't skip Biology diagrams — they are directly tested
  • Don't spend more than 2 hours/day on Physics — Biology is 50% of the paper
  • Don't attempt too many reference books — depth in NCERT beats breadth in other books
  • Don't ignore Inorganic Chemistry — it's all NCERT and comes with guaranteed marks
